Refreshing Summer Drinks: Creative Ways to Stay Hydrated

Tropical Smoothies

When it comes to making tropical smoothies, you have countless options to choose from. The best smoothies are made with frozen juicy fruits, such as mango, berries, pineapple puree, and banana. Just add a few tablespoons of milk to the blender, add your favorite fruits, fruit puree of your choice and chia seeds. 

Blend everything until it turns into a thick yet creamy consistency. Garnish with the toppings of your choice, and enjoy. Each sip of the tropical smoothie will hydrate you and make you feel like you are chilling at a beach near the ocean. 

Pink Lemonade

The best part about refreshing summer drinks is that they can be incredibly lively and colorful, such as a pink lemonade. You will be using pink raspberries to make your lemonade. If you cannot get hold of fresh raspberries, you can use frozen raspberries as they are more accessible and affordable. 

Add the raspberries into a saucepan along with maple syrup. Bring it to a simmer and allow it to cook for a few minutes to soften. Proceed to mash the raspberries to get all of their goodness. Strain the raspberries in a jar and let it cool. Add a few lemons juice to the raspberry juice and cold water to the jug. 

Iced Tea

Peach and thyme iced tea is an incredibly popular choice for iced tea. You can use a mild-flavored green tea or white tea and add the tea bag to a jar. Pour hot water over it and remove the tea bags after at least ten minutes. 

Chop up a few juicy peaches and add them to a saucepan. Include some fresh thyme and add some water and maple syrup to bring it to a boil. Stir occasionally, and when it turns into a puree, transfer the content to a bowl while straining it. 

Add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to the tea that is cooled off. Pour some peach mixture with tea and add a few ice cubes to the glasses. 

Mint Lemonade

Another refreshing summer drink is mint lemonade and ginger. As you might already have guessed – it is super healthy and super refreshing. If you are a huge fan of ginger, then this can be your ultimate go-to drink for the summer. 

You will need a huge chunk of ginger and grate it into a fine pulp that makes one tablespoon. Extract the juice by squeezing the pulp into a pitcher. In the same pitcher, you will add about three lemons of juice. Follow with a few fresh mint leaves. Add some honey with a whole bunch of ice cubes and cold water. 

Give it a good stir and enjoy.
