The ownership of Mountain Mike’s Pizza transitioned in 2017 when Chris Britt and Ed St. Geme, both California natives, acquired the company. Under their leadership, the chain has experienced a period of significant growth and modernization, further solidifying its position in the competitive pizza industry. The appointment of Jim Metevier as CEO in February 2024 marked another pivotal moment for the company. Metevier, who had joined Mountain Mike’s as COO in 2018, played a crucial role in expanding the brand’s footprint beyond California and driving a 32% increase in same-store sales over five years.
